Bachus are an underground ritual ambient/black metal project from Belarus. Expect: cryptic ritualistic vocals, occult chants and medieval hyms, dark and gloomy atmopsheres, distorted guitars and some unusual drumming echoes.
As with most ritual ambient/black metal projects the overall atmosphere invoked is like an ancient ceremony, Bachus follow the dark, morbid and esoteric side of medievalism: such as witchcraft, medieval torture and catharism. All of Bachus's influences and songs are combined into a single flowing soundtrack that create a gloomy setting of the mysterious middle-ages in Europe. If you like the dark/medieval ambient project Dark Ages, this is highly recommended. Also if you like atmopsheric funeral doom i would recommend this and any of Bachus's releases. The black metal here is highly unique as it is deep sounding, darkly occultic and slow.
