Hi all!
Fylgja might be called goth with a touch of folk perhaps, I´m no expert and I think that people worry too much about these things.
The album is what it is.
I plan to avoid making the same album over and over, so I have decided to write music that can include influences reminding of goth, folk, black, viking, and perhaps more.
On Fylgja I wanted to make it just the way it turned out, and that album didn´t include all these genrés, but I plan to do other albums that´s not like Fylgja.
The next album is almost recorded. It´s faster and more heavy than Fylgja. It includes some songs that have almost no keyboard - unlike Fylgja, 2 songs that are the most brutal songs I´ve written, and 1 song that is a little bit pop -just for fun (refrain-vers-refrain-vers-refrain-middlepart-refrain-refrain with a melody that you won´t get out of your head). One or two of these songs are very much viking.
For the album after that, I´ve recorded violin to a song sounding just like a swedish folk-song.
It´s more fun to create when you´re not stuck to one genré.
And yes, I have too much spare time

Take care!
