DAKON - noun. In old Dacian's culture, during hard times, the man sacrificed for the Gods was called - Dakon - the one with the message. Before the ritual he was told to send a message to the Gods after his death.
The band Dakon was born in 2000 in Moldova, Europe. It quickly became known for it's style and manner it approached metal music. Having gigs with Suffocation, Napalm Death, Moonsorrow just to name a few, Dakon has continued it's path form stage to stage, meanwhile releasing a demo called "Last Impulse Of Hope" in 2004; a full length album named "Tetraquetum" in 2006 which has made it known in Eastern Europe's metal scene and has brought ONLY high score reviews in metal press and media. Today, still independent, DAKON is bringing it's latest master piece in metal music with the releasing of the new EP entitled "DRAKONES" which is a new sound full of energy, a new vision, a new approach of the band towards its music and fans.
