Gears Attack is a band formed in mid 2008 in Caracas - Venezuela by Yram Antillano (vocals/lead guitar) and Gary Jikly (lead guitar) then Felipe Mendez (drums) and Daniel Marin (bass) joined to complete the quartet. After a year of exchanging ideas and trends in music, the band decided to star working on itґs first EP. throughout its development there were several conflicts among the members that caused risk of separation and delay in the project.
The band finished its first EP titled "the red vulture" in 2011. it's a mix of thrash metal, heavy metal and progressive components with lyrics which includes human thought and behavior.
Our vision as a band is to provide a good thrash metal with some old school with avant-garde elements that innovate the genre. ©
