This band has their roots in hardcore/punk, but later evolved a more metallic sound. Zorn had a strong influence to the german black metal scene e.g. to bands Nagelfar or Nocte Obducta.

Not to be confused with the Black Metal bands called Zorn from Rhineland or Bavaria.

it is possible that these guys never had contact to the black metal scene, but this album is produced like a mid90s metal album, they use riffs very similar to the contemporary atmospheric metal (nocte obducta have their roots in punk, too) and vocals + lyrics strongly remind me to janders vocals on hьnengrab im herbst.

From Baden-Wurttemberg und Rhineland-Palatinate this ZORN I know. Wahre Schwarz Metall this is, hass und vernichtung. About the rest a fuck give I don't. Wrath - ZORN means. Side darkest of Metal Black feel I in this, screamo not.
