If this is a Bandcamp download, why VBR and not CBR? Don`t misunderstand me, but i don`t understand VBR. Isn`t it a lesser quality as CBR or am i wrong?

I did it only because I'm really chocked on upstream bandwidth, so any saving on file size helps. The quality difference between CBR 320 and VBR V0 is just inaudible, so I went for the smaller. To be honest, I'd prefer more modern formats like Ogg or AAC that offer better quality/size ratios, but I think this would create compatibility issues with people and potential flame wars.

Aah ok. Thought there would be a real difference between CBR and VBR. I would also prefer Ogg or Frog, but as you said the most aren`t used to this formats or don`t use dbPowerAmp or else like.
