Foreign Objects is an American technical death metal band from West Chester, Pennsylvania. The musical style of Foreign Objects has been described by "neo-technical death metal". Founding member Deron Miller describes it as "a project that expands on the style of spacey progressive death metal that Pestilence and Cynic started in 1993", referring to the releases of Spheres and Focus, respectively
"Galactic Prey", the new album from science fiction death metal rockers Foreign Objects, marks the 20th anniversary of the band's incarnation. In 1995 the EP "Undiscovered Numbers & Colors" was released to overwhelming response, followed by the full length half vocal/half instrumental LP "Universal Culture Shock" in 2003. Over the years both releases have racked up sales in excess of 10,000 copies each without any distribution or label deal. Now, all 11 tracks on the forthcoming "Galactic Prey" showcase an impressive evolution that marks the height of the band's creative output by far.
