Extended info
about:
"Watching It Burn is the 2016 debut EP from Siegebreaker following up their single release of Cold Black Eye in 2015. The tracks will take the listener on a journey of varying sounds, and content that will strike thought and emotion.
As a band, we are very proud of not just the songs, but also of the process we used for this recording as well; we sought to bring it back to the roots: The drums were captured using a live acoustic drum kit, not programmed in digitally. There was no backing click tracks or maps used to arrange the songs, time/tempo changes have all been done by pure feeling to keep as much life in the final product as possible. It was a harder route to take, but we think it was worthwhile and we hope listeners will enjoy the more natural feeling we have aimed to achieve."
