The sound quality of course is not as good as Borderline1991 rip but here are included all four tracks.

Panacea 9.gif - intro - это ведь Enya - Boadicea! я уже слышал его на демонстрационных лентах Demoniac (пре Moonblood)

I am glad I've learned that this band used Enya song as intro.

However, the fact is that I don't know if Drakkar tricked me into buying a bootleg demo, or if I bought the real thing and the 4 track version of this demo that's been circulating the web is fake. I can't know it or prove it, I'll probably never know it - I doubt anyone can get this demo from anywhere else but Drakkar as I've never seen anyone else selling it, and I've been searching for it for years. So it's going to stay a mystery.

Really? I did knew about this (the fake version).I always thought that this rip that i posted was a legit one.
I do not know if anyone else can confirm that....Also there is a note on metal archives for their second demo that states: "originally released in January of 1995 under another title",
this points to their first demo (hence the same tracks) or to another unreleased version?
Well this post is getting more and more interested... smile1.gif

The four track version is certainly legit, not very good quality though. The demo was reviewed on Petrified #4 where Thorns mentions all the three proper tracks by name. Perhaps the version Borderline got and posted here is an earlier take on it, a promo or advance for the full demo? The covers look a little peculiar but legit enough.

All the Ancient Sign Glorify releases are the same recording (December '94), "Hail Satan" has just everything retitled. The intro is the same too, running times and/or trackdivisions on the Metal Archives entry are incorrect. Apparently there is a CDr version of it, I guess the times are from that which would mean it they're incorrectly divided. The rip I have is originally from the dead Dunkelheit blog (or that where I've downloaded it) and had the intro and "Osculum Infame" aka "The Mass of the Goat God" as single track. For some reason Audacity refuses to open the files, but it's obvious enough to compare just by playing it. It's probably the same rip that was uploaded here some years ago.

I suppose the band members or someone who knew the band better would be most qualified to say whats what.

Thanks for the info and your opinion. Funny, I was writing more or less the same conclusions on my blog just now, as a reply to your comment, at exactly the same time smile1.gif

So to sum it up,
this band released (officially) 4 tracks that were available on different versions (4 songs, 2 songs or maybe 3 songs if Thorns was not forgotten to mention the intro on his review).
Their "Hail Satan" release that is mentioned as a second demo features the same tracks with different-alternative titles and the cd version of it that released in 2004
clearly indicates on the booklet: "originally released in January of 1995 under another title" which obviously points onto their "Thy Unholy Celebration" demo version
with the black and white cover and the 4 tracks.

Mystery is solved.

Ancient Sign Glorify had two releases: first demo tape and "Live in Garage" live tape.

The first demo was recorded in December 1994. First version of it had black & white cover layout like on metal archives, and included intro + 3 songs. This is the first version:
Ancient Sign Glorify - Thy Unholy Celebration [demo] (1995)

After that, the demo was released once again, and that's what this topic is. First re-release.

After that, it was once again re-released by Mountain Distro but this time titled "Hail Satan". So, "Hail Satan" is not a different demo, but just another re-release of the first demo.
Ancient Sign Glorify - Hail Satan [demo] (1997)

The second release is "Live in Garage" live tape recorded in 1995 which you can listen on YouTube:
