Nazgûl is a Melodic metal band from Rochester, NY. It was started as a Black metal solo project by Josh Mason, however has since progressed into a full band with more Melodic/Symphonic style metal. More recently the music has been experimenting with a more Avant-garde style, while still sticking with the darker side of music. The music of Nazgûl takes various inspirations from a wide variety of bands such as Arcturus, Unexpect, Cynic, Vintersorg, Wintersun and many more.
