The fizzling/screeching noise on this release is really awful. Guess something went horribly wrong with the ripping. Sounds as if someone used a dead rat as a microphone to get audio from a cheap, worn out cassette player.

ok, I listened to the whole thing now. It gets better for some tracks. My guess is that the line level was too low, and noises got amplified during normalisation afterwards.
