Boiling Point is a 4 piece hardcore band from Gqeberha, South Africa. Boiling Point combines the catharsis of heavy music with a positive spirit and high energy performances. The bands lyrical themes focus on anti-war, the abuse of technology in modern society, mental health and community struggles. The band was formed in December of 2020 as a way of coping with the covid 19 lockdown, driven with the ambition to become a musical force on and off of the stage.
"Humanize is a journey into the human experience. Our goal with this album was to reflect the space around us and to put into music and words the complex emotions experienced when surrounded by uncertainty. Singer Dominic Louw opens up about racism, loss, personal & community struggles and how we can ultimately find our way back to hope. Finding our peace as human beings by taking responsibility for ourselves and those around us. Humanize is musically unrelenting while still offering moments of calm and introspection. We approached the recording of this album in a very raw and honest way with every member wearing their hearts on their sleeve when delivery their performances. We are incredibly honoured and excited to share this piece of ourselves with all of you."
