A new full length featuring longer more monotonous songs, a more atmospheric presence and lengthy runtime.
Treebound follows more of a concept then the previous albums, a dark journey through cursed woods and death itself.
The soundscapes offer a verity of horror and diversity in their harrowing walls, every track has it's own piece and story to tell, while contributing to the over arching theme of the album.
The album also features a new version of the previously released tracks 'A Foul Trust', 'Put To Death In Rotten Wind' and a long ambient piece to conclude the vile journey.
Abyss within abyss...
(With another lengthy writing and recording period, I used a verity of instruments with this release, from guitar with lots of pedals to different vocal techniques, midi programs to a keyboard/synthesiser, samples to bass with strange recording methods and audio remixing.
I tired to create the most unique sound so far for this release.
I really hope I have created something truly avant-garde, something of black metal and atmospheric music with some depressive darkwave influence for good taste. Treebound followed more of a concept then the others, a story of being banished/executed to a dark and very much sentient, moving forest and loosing ones mind, but I won't spoil more, I will let the listener decide the details.
