The original re-recordings of "Forever Mine" by Echoes of Silence before forming A Portrait of Flesh and Blood. Over a span of a year, the album was redone and re-imagined with new orchestrations and guitar work. Seven tracks of pure symphonic black metal with a mix of raw and aggressive black metal.
The point of this debut was to capture a little of everything in black metal from moments of death metal to doom like aspects and atmospheric melodies.
