This split release features one track of both obscure bands o.68 and
Amelotatist and ranges about 18 minutes. Both bands succeed to create an aura
of total darkness, death and doom in their very own way. o.68 offer droning death
doom combined with ambient-parts and a great sampled speech. The second track
by Amelotatist sounds like a blend of extremist sludge with funeral doom and
features some very fucked up vocals. While the track is also rather dirty and
chaotic it features some chilling melodies and even a violin part. I must admit
this is my first contact with both bands, but I surely will keep my eyes open for
new stuff of them. Those who seek extreme doom-ladden misery will simply need to
get this release and should be quick since it is limited and handnumbered to
200 copies!
