это пишет не бендкамп и не о стиле грув, это журналист одного музыкального сайта описывает ощущения от прослушанного известными ему терминами, такие и слэер хард роком называют

а про сладж я вообще не знаю откуда взял, нет там его

Во-первых, там где отпускают вожжи чистейшей воды melodic death с чуть перегруженным звучанием.
Техникал по большей части бестолковый получается, ибо качают ребята именно на прямых участках, при этом в асфальт не вдавили ни разу - бодренько прокатили мимо, повибрировали и желания не возбудили.
Есть элементы core, но смазанные, а вокалист не плох.
