ILLUMINATED MANUSCRIPTS is a cryptic entity gravitating around the Xenoglossy collective. Three tracks inspired by the surreal landscapes found in Salvador Dalì's paintings, as shown on the cover artwork and reflected in the enigmatic sonic barrage in which every movement segues almost seamlessly into the next.
As Obscure Tapes did with their issue, decades-old cassettes were used here, giving the music an additional layer of chaotic inscrutability.
