After the two first years Antiquus Scriptum became a one man band. Sacerdos Magus doesn't play live, but invites friends and guests to play in the studio.
Antiquus Scriptum appeared on two VA compilations:
- "The Legion Of TchorT Vol. III" released by TchorT (Peru), with the track "O Adamastor"
- "Demonic Onslaught Vol. I", from the two Malasian labels Demonmusick and KVLT 666 Prods, with the track "Abi In Malam Pestem".
Antiquus Scriptum has falsely been appointed as a Christian band, maybe for the samples of the movie "Christ Passion" used on "Immortalis Factus" in the tracks "I. N. R. I. - Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum" and "Thy Visionary". This is, however, irony on behalf of Sacerdos Magus. Christianity or any other kind of religious issues or motivations are by all means absent from S.M. and A.S. philosophy, and as such the band is NOT in any way religious.
The cross used in the logo is a Templar cross and has to be with the ancient roots of Portugal, it was due to their help that the firsts kings of Portugal expelled the Moors from the Portuguese territory in the begining of the middle ages.
