After his arrival of a 6-month trip out of the country, Richard Iturra decided to re-form his old band "Samhein" in 2002 but with more serious and ambitious objectives.

Through the years Llaxsay has been very successful in the local area, winning various prizes as the 2005's Best Band, 2005's best Guitar-player (Richard Iturra) and 2005's Best band-partner (Pablo Rebolledo) given by the Arica's Rock Bands Association (ADBRA). they also awarded a band contest recently in Summer of 2007, playing a cover from Los Tres, "Traje desastre"
