Additional notes:
The band started as a fast black metal act, then mixed some death and thrash influences into their music, and on their third album they were industrial influenced extreme metal.

After Ruho and Torment left the band in 2004 the four other members felt that the band had done all it could and decided to lay it rest. From the ashes of Funeris Nocturnum, a new band called Atakhama was born.

Participated on the compilation CD "Hordes of Darkness" that was released by Unexploded Rec in 2003. The song was "Hypernation Mantic".

Appeared on the ''Talvisota: Finnish Dark/Black Metal'' complitation CD (Woodcut Records, 2000) with the track ''Burying The Last Breath Of Christianity''.
