Extended info
Technical death metal Florida-style.
Жестоко прекрасный альбом, флоридское техно-мясо, а начиная с 3 трэка прям сплошной огазматронный коллайдер, настоящий техникал дэз метал наивысшей пробы. 10/10. ТАКОГО чистого давно не слышал.
Joe Capizzi - Vocals (The Dying Light, Cattlepress)
Shaune Kelley - Guitars (Hate Eternal, Ripping Corpse, The Beast))
Scot Hornick - Bass (Alas, Ripping Corpse, Faust)
John Longstreth - Drums (Gorguts, Origin, Skinless, Angelcorpse, The Red Chord, Possession, Exhumed, Murder Construct)
ИЗ рецензии:
Features former members of Hate Eternal, Origin, The Red Chord, Ripping Corpse, and The Dying Light. This album features Joey Capizzi's Dim Mak debut on vocals.
The vocals of Joe Caipizzi are a tremendous improvement over Scott Ruth, as Joe’s raspy death metal delivery, reminiscent of Blessed are the Sick-era David Vincent, is much more suited for this brand of music. He’s got a great vocal cadence, that flows with the riffs perfectly, which only helps to make the material much easier to get into.
If you’re a fan of technical Florida-style death metal along the lines of Monstrosity, Morbid Angel, Atheist and less blast-fueled Hate Eternal, Kansas’ Origin, as well as New Jersey’s own Ripping Corpse, you’ll definitely love Dim Mak‘s The Emergence of Reptilian Altars. Every complaint I had, big and small, about Knives of Ice have been addressed and improved upon greatly, leaving me with absolutely nothing to complain about. This is a great fucking album, and one of my favorite death metal releases of 2011! Great shit! Kudos!
