R.I.P.

On April 19, 2008, the band was to perform at the "Ultratumba Fest 2008" with bands Vendimia, Empírica, Lamento, and others. About 300 people had gathered around the place.

At four o'clock the gothic rock band Vendimia began with a theatrical repertoire, including a fire show characteristic of the band. Half an hour later, one of the members of this band throws a blaze that crashed into a steel beam, swerved and roof burnt sponge, thus starting the fire at the nightclub.

The place was filled with smoke black color which favored the confusion of concert goers. People who fled the premises before tried to break the walls of the club brass with stones, with little result. In those moments and rested on the floor of what was the Factory nightclub, the bodies of 13 people killed calcined at once, including 5 of Zelestial members, who were to come after the group Vendimia: Spouses Paola Flachier (also the band's manager) and Pablo Bernal, Mauricio Machado, Claudia Noboa, Andrés Rivadeneira and Cesar Corral, only Andrés Cárdenas and Daniel Calderón managed to escape the flames. Zelestial became the symbol of the tragedy of the Factory nightclub. In that event was to be honored as a pioneer band and band representative of Ecuador gothic genre. José Barragan (Flactorophia) also die in the tragedy.

The balance of the tragedy was 19 dead and 24 wounded, including six people who died in different hospitals in the capital of the Republic where they were taken to emergency

Event after the surviving members accused Lestard, ironically a former guitarist of Zelestial, lead singer of the band Vendimia of ordering one of the members of his band to throw flares thus causing the fire.

ABOUT COMPILTAION - Collection released in honor of deceased members of Zelestial, contains the only two songs that the band was able to record. "Inner Fall / Otoño Interno" from their Demo CD 2005 and "Bleed and Die" from its Promo CD released in 2007.
