"Barndommens hjem" is a raw and honest exploration of the theme of social heritage. The album delves into the complex relationships across generations and the scars that many carry throughout life. It speaks of trauma and how individuals choose to either repeat or break free from it.

Each track is written from authentic experiences and is based on different perspectives or viewpoints across generations. A framework that may explain future oppression and choices that weigh on future generations.

The album climaxes in a utopian desire for love and forgiveness, understanding and recognition. Something some people already take for granted, but for others, something they could not imagine surpassing them in their wildest fantasies.
