The title of the new album is "Roads to the North"( Taken from the lyrics of a Dwight Yoakam song, thanks Adam from seidr/below/mother plant for the inspiration!). It is a personal record about my recent (and temporary) move away from my home state of Kentucky to pursue my career as a brewer. The songs began the writing process back in Kentucky in 2011-2012 and recording process has begun at my current home in rural minnesota. The album will be co released with an all acoustic E.P called "Away songs" under my name, rather than panopticon, dating back to my internship in Norway in 2011 to now. Label involvements and artwork will be announced as they are ironed out. Thanks for the support!

Burzum appeared from nowhere in 1991 with a demo tape made up of a dozen guitars-and-bass-only tracks in rehearsal quality. I made a few more or less successful metal albums, but they all always included at least some ambient music. With time I moved further and further away from metal, and today only the ambient music remains. Today (2013) I think I am done playing metal music for good.
Many of you followed Burzum through the years, some even from the beginning, and I think metal-Burzum deserves a proper "good bye". So, just like I started out I will finish metal-Burzum with a guitars-and-bass-only track in rehearsal quality. "Back to the Shadows" is made up of the last metal riffs I ever made (in 2012). It was never released in any way, or recorded (beyond what you hear here), and it will not either -- beyond this short "video".
Take it for what it is; a sentimental good bye to metal-Burzum.
The music is playing with an image of the 17 year-old me, taken from the time when some of the first Burzum tracks were made. You can see this track as a good bye to that fellow too.
You can use this music as you please privately, but the track is mine, so if you by any chance want to use it commercially you need a permission from me to do so.

Ну и круто, я считаю. Жаль, конечно, но, с другой стороны, если смотреть объективно, после 2009 Варг выпустил только один по настоящему интересный и оригинальный альбом - BELUS. Все, что было после - пережёвывание и повторение его, где-то чуть более, где-то чуть менее удачное, но все равно БЛЁКЛОЕ. Чтобы здесь не серить, перемещаемся сюды: Burzum & Varg Vikernes 2010 - ...

I SHOULD receive the cds from the pressing plant within the next fifteen days.
I am not responsible for this delay in production because we placed the order with the factory on the… 1st March 2013!!!
Upon receiving the cds, the LMH label will temporarily shut down, and only open up again once I have sent out all the pre-orders.

Don’t expect any answer from the guy behind the PN facebook page: that page is a fake one and he is not me, although he probably dreams that he is.
