Вобщем, Lee Harisson+Sam Molina вместо записи нового "Чудовища", в компании с Pete Sandoval "Терроризируют" слушателей на большых и малых оперных сценах в честь 25-летия выхода "World Downfall". Так что, видать, не скоро услышим продолжение Spiritual apocalipse.

Well BRUTALITY fans we have some huge news. Due to personal reasons we have parted ways with Jim Coker and he will no longer be playing drums for us. However, we have already found a NEW drummer and we had our first practice today and he's a fuckin monster!!! We are very stoked to welcome Duane Timlin (formerly with Dying Fetus, Divine Empire, Hank III) and his sonic hammers of devastation to the BRUTALITY fold. We're looking forward to writing and recording with Duane and can't wait for you guys to hear the results of our collaboration. We wish Jim the best in his future endeavors and hope that you guys are gonna be able to handle the most BRUTAL FUCKING BRUTALITY to date!!! Cheers!!!

Патрик Мамели ушел из Pestilence и основал Necromorph.

Короче, группа после 25-ти лет существования останавливает всю деятельность по написанию нового материала и все силы Патрика теперь направлены на работу в его новой группе Necromorph, материал которой,по его словам, будет более брутальным, сумасшедшим, техничным, футуристичным и более..детовым( ).
"As of now, Pestilence is no longer active in recording new material. As a matter of fact, it's on a permanent hold, as I want to concentrate fully on my new project Necromorph. The style will be more brutal, more crazy, more tech, more futuristic and more death. I'm pretty sure all my fans will dig this! Please don't be sad about Pestilence. We've been holding the Pest flag strong for 25 years and we feel it's now done. I thank all my fans for being there and supporting us all the way.

Короче хоть и не хотелось вспоминать, но как в старой пословице: всё-таки "недолго музыка играла" - сил/терпения после воскрешения ровно на шесть лет хватило.

То всякими атмосферно фэнтезийными облогами баловались, а теперь решили с Cannibal Corpse (чьи обложки уже лет 10 одна праведнее другой) потягатся в тривиальной жестокости артворка?!

В целом неплохо, но не стиль Обитуры - фишка их классичеких облог - страх-ужас и в целом хорор, но не жестокость. Равносильно фильму "Пила" в режиссерском исполнении Хичкока.

Spanish legendary Death Metal band CANKER, will see their three albums re-issued through Xtreem Music during 2014/2015. Formed back in 1990 under the name of POST MORTEM, they soon changed into CANKER and released a killer demo in 1991 where they started to make waves within the national scene, becoming one of the leading acts back then.

First planned re-issue, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the album, is the band's acclaimed debut "Physical" released in 1994, which was produced by no other than Colin Richardson (Carcass, Bolt Thrower, Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse, Gorefest...), and remains as one of the top Death Metal albums within the Spanish scene. This one will come out as a double CD containing the band's Demo '91 as well as the very first and unreleased 6-song Demo '90 under the name of POST MORTEM. Release date hasn't been set yet, but will be around Sept./Oct. 2014.

Next one will be the 2nd album from 1997 "Exquisite Tenderness", an album that was released through their own manager back then, who gave them no promotion and distribution at all making of this album a rare item and an underrated work. This re-issue will feature brand new cover artwork as well as some live bonus tracks from '95. No release date for this one yet.

Last of the three re-issues, although this one isn't really a re-issue, but a proper release, is the band's 3rd album "Earthquake", which was recorded back in 2005 and remained unreleased until now, so this one will come out during 2015 to coincide with the 10th anniversary of such recording.

We're sure all Spanish extreme Metal maniacs will applaud this series or re-issues since this band means an alive legend within our scene and only the most expert foreign maniacs will know CANKER from back in the days, but don't worry!! Both old and new generations will be able to re-discover this awesome band of intense and technical Death Metal with a Thrashy edge full of killer riffs and melodies!!
