In 1993 Defiance reformed with Dave White (formerly of Heathen) on vocals, and after a long search recruited Paul Palmer on drums. With this lineup (Adams, Harrington, Kaufmann, Palmer, White), Defiance continued to tour between 1993 and 1994 in support of songs from their previous albums. The group also wrote, performed and recorded a variety of new material that received radio airplay.
In early 1994 a studio demo was produced and mixed by Rob Beaton (producer of Defiance's "Beyond Recognition" album). Songs from this Defiance studio demo are made available for personal listening use.
