Negative Concept was born in November 2015 in the southern suburbs of Paris from the project of Cédric M. vocals and guitar (ex Pitbulls in the nursery, Supertanker, Tsar bomba, Caedeath, Ubik...) in a deadly, heavy and desperate atmosphere. The band takes shape with the arrival of Johan C. (Culture Lutte, The Skeletonz) on drums and Romain P. (Hrad) on guitar at the end of 2019 to deliver a first concert in early 2020 as a trio. The band will find its final form with the arrival a few months later of Cédric V. (Olc sinnsir, Wargasm, Supertanker...) on bass. A few concerts later, Negative Concept entered Hybreed Studios to produce their first album in July 2021, a 10-track doom sludge grunge through black metal with blues sources. An album of radical honesty, this journey of more than an hour will make you sink into the darkness and complexity of the human soul in the depths of a dark and disillusioned gaze.
