Hmm unfortunately I didnt even know these radio edits exist.. I have only the standard (Japanese) bonus tracks of the full-leength albums

I think you need the iTunes software installed and then head over to iTunes store. No idea how the payment works - I have not yet purchased anything from iTunes. And on a side note: iTunes files are always .m4a not .mp3

Ok, was kind of a long shot anyway. Aside from iTunes, both Radio Edits are only to be found on Promo CD Singles :/

And well.. the thing i am probably looking for most are demos by Timeless Miracle (The Enchanted Chamber has been uploaded to youtube, so I kinda have that one, in crappy audio quality) and demos by Moonlight Agony. As for Bonus Tracks, I cannot now remember anything particular, but MoonLight Agony's 1st album had a Japanese Bonus track Shallow Sanity, which is nowhere to be found and I would like to find it as well... I dont know if you have it, but it is missing from your list
As for Ultimatium - Heaven for Us, the Japanese CD is out of print at most shops, but here it still seems to be available for 40$ : http://www.jpophelp.com/scripts/newsite/pr...&showname=1 If I had something like a salary I probably would even buy it, even if it is fucking expensive, but until xmas is over, i dont have $40 spare.

Hey TheTrasher, I usually rip youtube music with "Free YouTube to MP3 Converter". It's an excellent freeware program and easy to use. But take in account web streams such as youtube, myspace, facebook, bandcamp, soundcloud etc. are in very low quality. The highest bitrate, music is streamed, is 128kbps; most of the times even lower, from 56 - 96kbps. That means ripping with settings above 128kbps is pointless (transcode). Only do web rips for your own, private collection and try to replace with a proper CD-rip.

I rip it at 256kbps from an online video converter that allows you to select quality (from 320 or lower) and formats (AAC, WAV, MP3), but anyway i'm going to wait for Lugia010719d1's rip too, just for better quality

I think you (and a lot of people do actually) miss the point of web ripping.

You might be able to chose between different bitrates within the program or online converter BUT that's not real.
There is no point in ripping with 256kbps when the youtube streaming itself is at, let's say, 96kbps. All you get is a blown up upconverted mp3. It now looks like 256kbps but inside you only got 96 or 128kbps at best.

That's why I'm so sick of people ripping everything off the net. They say it's 320kbps (thanks to the ripping software) but when you use a spectral analysis on the questionable mp3s, in 9 out of 10 times, you realize it's piss poor quality.

Hmm.. Ancient Bards - The Skies Above (Japanese bonus track for Soulless Child) has been uploaded to youtube as well.. somebody obviously puts the effort into ripping and sharing the bonus tracks.. but i would use the favourite "You're doing it wrong"... its not a problem to rip music from youtube, but the source audio usually sucks and ripping also usually means re-encoding, so another quality loss...
Well I am sorry for the delay, but there had been some chaos in the customs.... Howewer a few minutes ago i obtained a notice that the CD is sitting at the local post office waiting for me to pay for the custom taxes and then it will be mine.. So I guess i will make a lossless rip of the track (FLAC, APE? you decide) and a 320kbps MP3...
btw i havent heard the bonus track yet, since i am close to having it in full quality now... didnt want to spoil the surprise

And so it arrived. Interesting how the back cover contains the bonus track name, but the booklet does not. But there is a second booklet, written only in Japanese, with all the lyrics translated into Japanese, but one song there has the lyrics also in English: the bonus track :D

Btw soundcloud has much better quality than, for example, myspace. Audio in youtube also can be of different quality (up to real 320) but only if the video is available in HD but even this doesn't guarantee the quality. I used some youtube to mp3 converters (cannot say that exactly the same that you've suggested) and in none of thoose there were an option to select video quality. By default they downloaded 320 and the audio quality was sucking a lot. Then I used opera browser to download video in desired quality and extracted audio from it (there are many programs to do so, I use AoA Audio Extractor Platinum cause it is simple). So I get better quality. That's how I get Theocracy - Wages of sin, for expample.

Now I can delete that crappy "320kbps" At the Inn of Eamon Bayle mp3 found messing on the internet, and listen a properly CD-RIP. Thanks Lugia010719d1!!

Im not an expert on ripping CDs though.. is CDex->Lame ok? (external lame, i cant find out the version now as i have the apps on a remote HDD).
And.. if anybody finds Ancient Bards - The Skies Above in full quality (proper 320 mp3 or losless), put it here I would probably order the Japanese original once again, but i dont want to go through this fucking customs bureaucracy again..
But im going to order original of Ancient Bards's demo CD, so i will ask the band if there is any possibility to order a copy of the Japanese edition directly from them (shipping from Italy should not be such a big problem as shipping from Japan is)...

Any ripping software that's based on the LAME codec is perfectly fine Lugia010719d1.
Since Windows Media Player and iTunes use the FhG codec, or sort of, I for myself use Winamp. Takes some time to rip/convert but the result is top notch.
