6. It's recommended to format the archive names as follows:
«Band’s title» - «Year» - «Album’s title»_[metalarea.org]_by_«Nickname».rar,
For example: Slayer-1988-South Of Heaven_[metalarea.org]_by_St6por .
Name of archive MUST contain your nickname on metalarea.org or name "metalarea.org" itself for easier to determine your authorship of this upload. Otherwise, release will be sent to the "Find Area", where it will wait for someone who can personally mirror it and rerelease by own name.

I stopped posting to this forum because of this. Also how you only can use MediaFire (Server who deletes accounts like it's nobody's business) and then iFolder.

Basically nothing, Russian forum, for Russians. Nobody else really, haha.

Lame rules that I can't post my MirrorCreator links here offering 12 mirrors, only one shitty one which gets deleted in five seconds.

Best to bring Prophet of Death back and forget about this place, especially when things are in the mod queue all day and night and much quicker on Boom and GM...

It's true. Bunalti, Mediaboom, and GetMetal are way quicker than this place. While these other places have the albums up for download, Metalarea has all the albums sitting in the mod queue by Necroscum who just takes all the albums from the other sites. The life of the Area, hahah

That's fine and ok. But still, this is the slowest place for posting, mods always sleeping or something, no job being done. Mod queue full of releases right now as I type this, too.

About this, yes, you are right. This is a big problem of our forum and we know about it.

Sometimes new album can be in moderation queue all night, and I must go to another place for download it, but anycase this website was created by people from Russia and russian-speaking audience here is 95%- because of this is for us ifolder and mediafire comfortable- we will continue to use, do not look at fact, that users from another countries can't or don't want to use it

And if by some technical problems non-russian users can't download from our sites, by the same technical problems we can't download from yours foreign sites

and upload to, what is more critical in this case.

I can DOWNLOAD and UPLOAD to any server I want. If it's "blocked" you just use this - http://www.hidemyass.com/proxy/

I only say MediaFire sucks (now a days) because they delete tons of accounts. Rghost is awesome, but lame 50 MB deal. iFolder is good (for me and I know how to use it) but I am not selfish. Just cuz it works for me and I KNOW HOW to use it, what about other people?

We upload for many people to download our files, well if there was a file sharing site that EVERYBODY could use including Europe, USA, and third world countries, then everyone would be happy.

Also, why can't I upload to a server aloud here but ALSO another server? What does it hurt having a link to another server? I got WARNED and BANNED twice now for two weeks because of adding MirrorCreator links with MediaFire mirror AND 11 others. Why is this wrong?

I know, it's just a lame rule, and I won't follow it, hence why I quit posting albums here, I used to post about 10 a month, but once I got banned at the end of March, I decided to never post here again. I rather post on GetMetal or other sites considering they don't have stupid rules like including name or forum or blog in archive and they allow way more mirrors. This site used to be good in 2008 and 2009, but once the rule of file servers being so narrow and since MegaUpload died in January, it's basically a waste of time to post here. If I posted numerous releases here on MediaFire, how much do you want to bet all of the MF links would be deleted within two weeks? Basically my point is, it's not worth it to post here. I want to use MirrorCreator to help EVERYONE out, not JUST Russia or Metalarea. I also have a slower upload speed than most of you, so it really is not worth my time uploading once to MirrorCreator, then a second time to MediaFire for here, and then a third time to some other server to post to Mediaboom. I enjoy spreading metal to many places so all can hear the music, but when you have to include name or forum or blog in archive, or have passwords, or include other names of sites within files, then the Admins/Mods get pissed and delete posts. So it's best to include no information about any other site and best to post to a site that isn't so picky about file sharing sites. Either way, I am done uploading most likely in 2013. I have been doing this stuff way too long and it's about time I quit sitting in front of a computer screen all day and get out into the real world and stop the Internet games. Ya know?
