The Scars in Pneuma are back with opus nr 3, the EP “Woebegone, Raised by Wolves”. The EP comes a year and a half after the well-received “The Eerie Chronicles” split EP with Ogen.
Once again entirely home-recorded and produced, “Woebegone, Raised by Wolves” is a multifaceted, genre-defying musical offering, at the intersection of (mostly) slow-paced melodic black metal, haunting acoustic interludes, death metal-influenced cavernous vocals, with a sprinkling of eerie field recordings and an overall sense of doom looming over the tracks.
