LOL....I don't don't know. I just posted it since it was stuck to the cover of my magazine. Hatchet and Skeletonwitch sound pretty good. Jury's out on the rest.

So, I've listened, it's a great compilation, but only if you skip/delete tracks by COB, Exodus and Death Angel (the first one not being thrash and the two latter just suck). IMO

Могу парочку таких компиляций в лосслесс залить) Вот только смысла не вижу выкладывать промо-диски) Да и подборки у Хаммера весьма странноватые местами, вот в этой сунули C.O.B. неясно, каким боком...

А так, эта подборка неплоха местами, жаль только, что Fueled by Fire здесь - демо трек, а не с альбома. Звучание на демке - просто говно.

I have to agree with you. Death Angel has taken a swan dive into the sh*tter ever since 'The Ultra-Violence'. Exodus since....bonded by blood(?). Hatchet are friends of mine.....so I really hope you guys dig it. Their album comes out on May 27th. skeletonwitch is pretty damn good. I also have to recommend Witchaven....even though they are not on this compilation (shameless plug). Cya!

Yeah, I totally agree about Death Angel. "The Ultra-Violence" was very good, "Frolic..." - just boring, the rest is . About Exodus... well, I think the disaster struck at "Impact Is Imminent" - the two previous albums with Zetro were good (although the production sucked), but that... Hell, even "Tempo..." was decent, but then... Baloff must be turning in his grave at such speed that you can build a small power plant there! Skeletonwitch is pretty damn good, eve though they're too melodic for my ears.

Seems like I have to find some more material by Hatchet and Witchaven.

Если там куча молодых трэш-банд, то давай. Только лучше не в лосслесс, а в мп3 (192 или 256) - для ознакомления в самый раз.

Да у меня пара таких же сборников (промо, прикрепленные к Метал-хаммеру). БОльшую часть банд я впоследствии тут и нашёл, напр. Gama Bomb, Fueled by Fire, SSS и подобных - нет смысла вываливать эти сборники, извиняюсь) Имхо, проще по майспейсу посёрфить, я там кучу позитивных банд откопал, те же Witchhaven, Sodomizer, Wastelander, Violator... всё это, если не изменяет память, есть здесь на металэриа)

А компиляхи журнальные плохи тем, что банды на них повторяются, что говорит сокрее о проплаченном пиаре, чем о реальном желании донести до масс андеграунд. В последнее время подташнивает от постоянных фоток и заметок в Хаммере о Джоеле Грайнде - а появились они, ясен пень, с тех пор как Toxic Holocaust подписались на Relapse)
