Когда я увдел метку death/doom и 89й год, подумал: ну ни фига ж себе ! Это ж даже до Пэрэдайз Лост и Винтер !

При ближайшем знакомстве (как это часто случается (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif) ) всё оказалось значительно менее радужно - дэздума тут нету, тут, по сути, просто замедленный (причем только местами) дэт. Так что в рамках истории формирования и становления дума альбом особой ценности не представляет - тот же вышедший двумя годами ранее "Пандемониум" Селтик Фрост вещь куда более думовая и оттого знаковая для жанра.
зато это куда как значимая вещь для дэт-металла ! Потому как я что-то не припомню кто в том 89-м году играл такой откровенный дэт. В те года будущее смерть-металлическая братия (за исключением, может быть, Death '88 и Obituary '89) больше гнала перегруженный треш (или вообще гринду) чем полноценный дэт. А тут - практически "чистокровный" олдскульный дэт. Первопроходцы, как-никак (IMG:style_emoticons/default/fear.gif)

Если верить открытым источникам, участникам ВИА на момент выхода сей культовой пластинки было 16-17 лет. А ведь офигенно получилось!
Действительно, альбом вышел примечательный и далеко не наивный, далеко не детский. Такой, суровый мрачняк, подкрепленный очень неплохими скоростями и атмосферными пассажами.
Лично я нахожу странным, что ни по инициативе группы, ни по инициативе издательства этот прекрасный образец старого-доброго Death/Doom не был переиздан!
