В общем, это какая-то бубонная чума. В плане того, что хуже быть просто не может. Тривиум за свою недавнюю историю были: ушлыми знаменосцами киркора на Ascendancy; славными последышами метлы 80х на Крусейд; просто убийственными на Сёгуне; талантливыми хитмейкерами на In Waves; но такими жалкими и беззубыми как на сабже они не были никогда.
В принципе, с 5 трека вырисовывается что-то привычное и интересное, но этому ощущению сразу же дается строго по яйцам, как и немногочисленному скриму на альбоме. Ну и Дреймана в Сибирь, это ясно как день.

Ascendancy (2005) нравится, The Crusade (2006) нет, Shogun (2008) отличный, In Waves (2011) фуфло, унылейший мейнстрим. По такой логике этот альбом понравится, но я уже не верю. Бабло побеждает зло.

The first one - Something Wild wasn`t completely power/speed, one can hear a strong black metal thingie there. + it was too punkish, the approach was very raw and that was amazing. Hatebreeder was much more sterile.

You're right. Something Wild was what you call it. I like it, though. It still had all those killer solos, ala Red Light in My Eyes 1 and 2, and many more.

? I don't like Load, Reload, and St. Anger. Death Magnetic 2008 wasn't so good either. The Black Album 1990 is mainstream radio friendly stuff, I only like and need Kill 'em All, Master of Puppets, ...And Justice for All, and Ride the Lightning. The rest I do not need.

Услышав первую тему, изумился крайне - даже для Тривиума это слишком. Напомнило какой-то калифорнийский панк, или как там правильно эта хрень называется (подобное обычно пускают саундтрэком к голливудским фильмам про сексуально озабоченных подростков). Но потом все вернулось в прежнюю колею - все тот же модерновый и слегка приторный трэш. Пойдеть.

Собрался всё-таки с силами и дослушал альбом до конца, такого порожняка вообще от них не ждал, не было ещё такого, чтобы хоть одна песня из альбома не понравилась. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/6.gif) Материал скучен до безобразия, металл ради металла, альбом ради альбома, подождали бы уж лет 5-6, собрались бы с силами и выпустили стоящий альбом, а не это.

Порадовал альбом, я уж думал после предыдущего капец группе. Не понимаю претензий к альбому, чистый вокал отличный, добавились оттенки в голосе, куча прекрасных хитовых мелодий и припевов. 8 из 10 железно.
