Не, не хард-кор это. Альтернатива, Nu-metal, всякие рэпперские речитативы, чуть ли не гранджевая баллада The Burning Red. Короче, самый неоднозначный альбом группы. Меня не проперло.

У них там на Западе употребляется термин MallCore - этакое тягучее музло с воот таким речитативом - гибрид этой самой альтернативы.

не первая такая у группы. Альбом очень хороший. Да, спорно аранжированный, но главное — всё таки песни. А они хитовы, чёрт возьми. Более того, работа концептуальная, некоторые вещи белой нитью тянутся через весь альбом. Безусловные хиты — Silver, From This Day, The Burning Red, кавер на Полис. я являюсь поклонником группы и обажаю все их альбомы кроме вот этого и суперченжера (IMG:style_emoticons/default/22.gif)

не, след. альбом получше немного. по крайней мере, от клоунского имиджа избавились. надо бы из 99 и 01 что-то вытянуть. чисто и уважения к со-отцам грува

вроде, недавно гонял альбом. надо переслушать эту тему. не нравится мне ярлык "грандж" для 1994-97 годов машин хэд

хотя, после 150 прослушиваний должен знать альбом наизусть. видимо, нет ещё(

I've just re-listened to this album...it has aged really badly, and none of the songs sound particularly good to me now...before I started I felt that Silver, From This Day and The Burning Red would be ok but all are pretty awful. Desire to Fire is terrible!
