Atmospheric Black Metal. Атмосферный, чуть сырой и размеренный Black Metal в духе старых классических альбомов Burzum с маленьким, но весьма приятным дополнением в виде shoegaze и post-rock влияний, но без слащавости. Простые и запоминающиеся мелодических ходы и добрый гипнотизм во множественном их повторении. В довершение всего, глубокий и проникновенный вокал.

BORGNE - Return to the Past - DOUBLE CD

It is not a standard compilation but more of a reinterpretation.
Borgne decided to re-record their albums I & II in 2010-2011. Also on this CD, a remastered version of the album III plus several bonus tracks.
23 tracks, 154 minutes.

Шикарная новость, но первоначальный восторг не оправдался при прослушивании. Акитса узнаётся, но она стала спокойной, размеренной, а не терзающей слух, как раньше. Возможно полный альбом произведёт другое впечатление и "повзрослевшая" Акитса будет не хуже прежней.

Kvalvaag and Jon Henning Orten is mostly known from bands such as Kvalvaag, Cognition, Arvas, Astaroth, Attentat & Psychogenic, to name a few. They also worked together recently when Kvalvaag made a guest vocal appearance on Jon’s new Cognition album Spiral of Deception. Now they have properly joined forces and formed the band Wendigo.
This cooperation has resulted in a new album called Anthropophagist, which the band call a tribute to the morbidly insane. The album was recorded in Oslo and Kolbotn in late 2014 and early 2015, and combines (according to the press release) old school black metal sensibilities with thrash and black’n’roll infused with pure horror. Anthropophagist is scheduled for release in June via Fallen-Angels Productions.
