В общей сложности было названо свыше двух сотен групп. Среди них были и неформатные, но были и совершенные жемчужины жанра, порой, неизвестные. Я, к примеру, почерпнул немало новых и интересных названий. Но имена тех, кто прошёл во второй этап, конечно, предсказуемы. И вот они.

Solitude Aeturnus 14. Solstice 15. While Heaven Wept Экстремальный: 1. Anathema 2. Doom:VS 3. Esoteric 4. Evoken 5. Katatonia 6. Lake of Tears 7. Mournful Congregation 8. My Dying Bride 9. Officium Triste 10. Pantheist 11. Paradise Lost 12. Saturnus 13. Shape of Despair 14. Skepticism 15. Tiamat А теперь мы воспользуемся зарекомендовавшей себя в фольклорном марафоне «шишечную систему» с небольшими изменениями. Задача: назвать по три лучших альбома¹ группы (разумеется, форматных, если дело касается менявших стиль; разумеется, если в дискографии у группы есть такое количество альбомов, в ином случае — называем сколько есть). На руках у каждого по шесть баллов для каждой группы. Максимум на альбом — три балла. (Если вы не указываете баллы названному альбому, то я распределяю их сам по возможному равному максимуму, то есть, если три альбома — по два на каждый; если два — по три.) Разумеется, можно назвать не три альбома, а меньше. Но баллы желательно использовать по максимуму. ¹NB! Называем только номерные студийные альбомы! Компиляции, миньоны и демо-записи не принимают участия. Второй этап, разумеется, будет идти дольше первого: многое требует вдумчивого прослушивания и осмысления. Статистика первого этапа.
