В The Jester Race где-то с 14 до 30 секуды - явный модерновый риффинг... и это я ещё молчу про очередное акустическое арпеджио. Wayfaerer с 1:50 до примерно 2:20 и с 2:36 до 2:47 - мелодическая форма в принципе не свойственная классическому мелодэту. С 3:25 до 3:38 - использование клавиш... ну не знаю, если это не признак, тогда толи я дурак, то ли лыжи не едут... но через несколько лет, сами Флеймсы (и не только они - тех же DT вспомним) будут активно их использовать. Ну и в Dead God In Me - проигрыш с 1:26 до 2:13 - темами в таком духе изобилуют "Colony", "Clayman" и т.д. Здесь это, как мы видим, сплошные секунды. Если не прав, значит модерн-метал (и его элементы) - что-то неописуемое из другой вселенной, не имеющее отношение ни к мелодэту, ни к музыке как таковой. Когда говорят о т.н. "модерн-мелодэте" - имеют в виду сочетание мелодэта с грувом либо металкором. Т.е. в наличии нехарактерные для классического мелодэта риффы и брейкдауны, это главный отличительный признак. Обилие чистоголосых припевов - уже вторично и необязательно (может быть модерн-мдм вообще без чистого вокала, так и классический мдм с его обилием). Клавиши и акустика вообще никаким боком не являются признаком модерна, акустика наоборот гораздо чаще используется в классическом мдм, чем в модерновом. Использование клавиш - это просто использование клавиш, а не признак модерновости. В композиции The Jester Race модернового (т.е. пригрувленного либо приметалкоренного) риффинга НЕТ НИГДЕ. Коротенькую инструменталку The Jester's Dance стилистически можно, конечно, по-разному трактовать, она даёт некоторую свободу в этом плане. Но чтоб найти там альт-рок нужно ОЧЕНЬ ХОТЕТЬ его там найти. Вот на последних работах Пламенных он ищется очень легко. В Wayfaerer те 30-ти и 15-секундные отрезки (самому не смешно, не?), что ты привел в пример, ростут прямиком из метал-музыки 80-х, но никак не из альт-рока, металкора или грува. Что не только не противоречит олдскульности мелодэта на обсуждаемом альбоме, но наоборот подтверждает. |
