Ветераны голландского метала Pestilence подписали соглашение с Hammerheart Records на выпуск своего нового альбома "Hadeon", запись которого начнется летом. Также лейбл ближе к концу года переиздаст 4 первых работы коллектива.

Вчера, 20-го апреля, покончил с собой вокалист Martin Funderud (Kraanium, Congenital Malformation, Dragging Entrails, Fermented Masturbation, Psychosomatic Self-Mutilation)

В четверг, 20-го апреля при ликвидации пожара 2-ого уровня опасности
в квартале Ridgewood, Queens погиб нью-йоркский пожарный с 14-летним стажем и драммер Internal Bleeding William N. Tolley, оступившись в конце пятиэтажной лестницы после того, как огонь был взят под контроль. Eго привезли в Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, где он скончался от травм, оставив жену Мэри и восьмилетнюю дочь Изабеллу. Билл стал 1,147-ым пожарным, погибшим на службе в Нью-Йорке.
