Интро клавишное прямо из 70х годов, так и ждешь какой нибудь Урия Хип запев))
Модный, качественный звук, шлепающие барабаны, очень низкие грязные, но читаемые гитары.
Все по канонам современной зувкозаписи.
Крепкая профессиональная работа музыкантов с громадным стажем.

Оперативно слили альбом...Только радости никакой, абсолютно не впечатлил диск, впрочем, как и предыдущий: скукотень, ползают по давно изъезженным риффам, не цепляет совершенно

Забористый альбомчик такой весь, очень забористый. Можно сказать, что на этом альбоме, у моих любимцев, творческий цикл перерождения замкнулся, совершив полный виток. Кому, как, но мне здесь видится стилистическая квинтэссенция первых двух альбомов PL - Lost Paradise и Gothic, только в современной адаптации. В целом - великолепно, впрочем, как и всё у них. Кажется, наконец-то можно смело указывать жанр "Doom/Death Metal" без всяких Melodic-/Gothic- и т.п.
Но The Longest Winter внезапно напомнила Type Of Negative и музыкой, и манерой пения.
По первому прослушиванию треки с 5-го по 8-й как-то ушли в фон

Наконец-то мне что то нравится из PARADISE LOST после Icon. Тока что здесь делает Frozen Illusion точно такая же как на Lost Paradise, по времени звучания 5:20, хотя в шапке написано 5:45?
