Обитури воршип, прям почти один в один, поначалу даже риффы по моему часто одинаковые (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif) разве не так тяжело-массивно, ну и кое-где есть ускорения, показалось вторая половина немного поинтересней в рамках жанра

Как один из самых фанатично фанатских фанатиков OBITUARY, напишу - ваще нипахоже (ну если только и то и то death metal) - там построение риффов другое и нет бластбитов. По первому впечатлению какие-то отголоски MORTA SKULD и конечно же PESTILENCE времён Ван Друнена и DEATH периода 88-90, что было замечено ещё на прошлых их творениях.
А в общем и целом хороший death metal.

Да они много у кого нахапали риффов знакомых, но мне первая половина альбома показалась прям уж очень обитурскй з искючением некоторых деталей типа более легкого "пестиленсовского" звука и присутствие некоторых скоростей местами, вообще очень штампованный альбом выдали, только вторая половина с уклоном в гр. дэз спасла положение, но опять же ничего своего нет ни капли

После переслушивания двух предыдущих альбомов - этот релиз интереснее, разнообразнее и профессиональнее. Ну и Данёк Сванёк чуток поколдовал над сим творением. В общем мне нравится ещё больше, чем после первого прослушивания.

От Обитуры отчасти вокал, от Пестиленс ничего не слышу, от Шульдинера всё остальное.
Skeletal Remains продолжают играть музыку группы Смерть 1987-1990, используя те же риффы, приемы и возможно тексты.
Поначалу (на первых работах) было прикольно, и даже ух (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif)
А теперь слушаю и недоумеваю, куда растеряли весь свой талант копирования...
Другие последователи нравятся мне гораздо больше, вот открыл для себя Burial - Relinquished Souls (1993), слушал друг за другом эти два альбома.
Голландцы просто с потрохами сожрали штатовскую молодежь, даже в копировании великих DEATH.

Так и не определился в своем отношении к Skeletal Remains.

В принципе, это ближе к некому косплею а-ля Gruesome, нежели к собственному идентичному творчеству. Если включить сабжевый альбом фоном, то он одновременно будет напоминать то Obituary, то Death, то старых-добрых голландцев Pestilence/Asphyx времен ван Дюрена. Справедливости ради стоит заметить, что аранжировки складные и на слух все ложится с первого раза, все очень откалибровано и выверено. За тем лишь исключением, что не покидает стойкое ощущение словно материал писала нейромашина.
Вот загрузили в условный софт The Rack, Spiritual Healing, Consuming Impulse и Cause of Death, нажали Play и получился Devouring Mortality.

Прикольный микс из находок любимых групп тридцатилетней давности, правда, уместность такого релиза как явления в 2020 году персонально вызывает некое недоумение.
Можно сказать, что Skeletal Remains отличники по всем дисциплинам от Death Metal, уроки выучены (вызубрены?) на 5+, перед нами гордость класса.
Но по состоянию на текущий день в работах под вывеской Skeletal Remains от именно Skeletal Remains нет ровно ничего.

В сентябре выходит 4й альбом The Entombment of Chaos. По треку с превью... сдается мне, что и там будут попугайничать.

По отзывам на метал архивах подсдали на этом альбоме. Он и правда затянутый, и уход в какой-то менее интересный материал. Хорош, но худший в дискографии группы. По-прежнему, микс из крутых олдовых банд, а там уж каждый решает, нравится оно или нет.

На обетвари совсем не похоже, тогда уж Asphyx, если хочется провести аналогию с вокалом, т.к. схожесть риффинга здесь с указанными флоридцами отсутствует вообще.
