What a huge disappointment; except for one song ("The Grim Sleeper") there's no thrash here under any form. If you liked the guys' last effort "Tragic Intense" this is very similar, dark progressive doomy metal this time coming with cleaner vocals ala Chris Holmes (Paradise Lost) and James Hetfield. Nothing to do with the band's first two, much better and much more aggressive albums.

По первому прогону вообще не понятно. Вокалёр как-то очень похоже на Хэтфилда поёт, чуть ли не копирует иногда. Музон не имеет общего ни с ранним бэндом (1990-1991), ни с поздним (1993). Трэша тут вообще нет, только какой-то прог/американо-пауэр.

После второго прослушивания могу с уверенностью сказать, что релиз понравился. К уже указали выше, альбом не похож на работы из 90-х. Он вроде как продолжает эксперименты, начатые на '93 - неспешно повествование с чистым вокалом, но релиз менее мрачный, выдержан, как мне показалось, в стилистике хэви/трэш. Прогрессива и павера не заметил. Да, альбом не на каждые день, но под настроение - заходит на ура!
