Да, это не "тупой брутальный стафф", но при всем этом после прослушивания альбома я бы не могу сказать, что какая-то композиция запомнилась, вот реально, слушал - получал удовольствие, сейчас - хоть убей ни одного трека не помню... ну разве что последний трек...

Очень мощная работа французов в первую очередь напоминает, конечно, лучшие вещи Strapping Young Lad. Мелодично и жестко, мощно и качево. Неторопливо (что есть большой плюс!). Играть так брутально, но при этом не строчить как из пулемета, умеют далеко не многие. Возможно именно это объединяет музыку французов с шедеврами Morbid Angel. Нет, они конечно могут и строчить из пулемета тоже, но не злоупотребляют этим.
Несмотря на кажущиеся сходства у Gojira несомненно есть своё лицо...
После первого прослушивания оценивал альбом на 7-8, но уже после второго ставлю 9/10 баллов. Отличная работа французов.

З.Ы. Кстати, а как другие работы группы по сравнению с этой пластинкой?
