Не знаю, по чему там вздыхают всякие трУ-пацаны, а у меня хилое пиликание и хрипение с первых альбомов (до "Грома", а там где-то наполовину) не вызывает особых эмоций. Но Нергал дядя башковитый и талантливый, и он придал своей банде фирменное звучание и атмосферу — короче, Бегемота узнаешь сразу. Это невероятная, всесокрушающая мощь (зиждящаяся не столько в дисторшне и не в аппаратной области вообще), словно гром катится по небу, это шикарный "усталый" (©) и зловещий рёв Нергала (кажется, так и рычит сатана на своих шестерок у себя в конторе) — и все это вкупе создает адское ощущение. Это вроде и не блэк и не дэт, а не мойми что, но жутко притягательно. 10\10, ниче не знаю.

Очень долгое время прямо-таки терпеть не мог данный альбом, а тут после переслушанного Эвангелиона и Апостаси пробило так, что ппц. Отменный мрачноватый среднетемповый с ускорениями блэкенед дэтх метал прямо таки взрезает и качает. Это задумчивость вкупе с некой агрессивно-одержимостью держит марку Бехемот гордо, не давая ей упасть и даже покачнуться. А эти риффо-запилы вкупе с Нергало-рычанием. Приобрел альбом в год выхода, до сих пор неистово тащусь от сабжа, знаком каждый риф, каждый трек. Конечно, материал здесь вышел весь долбежным, но бегемотам такой саунд к лицу. Безусловно, здесь играют чистейший death с помесью оклодисадовщины и морбидэнжеловщины, но на свой собственный лад. Имхо, на этой альбоме команда набрала лучшую "спортивную" форму, на которой пробежала еще пяток лет...

Это последний альбом Бегемота, который полюбляю. Мощно, плотно, красиво, с творческим подходом. Потом они, вернее Нергал, еще более глубоко погрузились в занюх прогорклого козлячьего ануса и музыка, видимо, стала для них вторичной. Ее потеснили клипы, скандалы и эпатаж.

первый прослушанный мной альбом группы. потом были сатаники, зос култусы, но именно сабж расслушивал очень долго.
сейчас конечно совсем не слушаю, и коммент написан под излишним возлиянием портера, и вообще непонятно - зачем это всё.

It's certainly better than soulles and boring ''Zos Kia Cultus''. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/14.gif) There are some memorable and aggressive tracks like: Sculpting the Throne ov Seth, Conquer All, Slaves Shall Serve, The Reign ov Shemsu-Hor. Some good riffs accompanied by blast beats and that's all. Just technical/brutal Blackened Death Metal. Very close to Nile and Morbid Angel.
