Back in early 90s i always found Mortiis releases to be a little bit of boring and repetitive, with the exception of Crypt Of the Wizard compilation and his Fata Morgana project.
As for his Industrial albums i do not even want to talk about them. But oh my...this one is absolutely amazing!
His dungeon synth melodies are mixed with elements of Dark Ambient/Neo-Classical reminding early works of bands from Cold Meat Industry
and placing Spirit Of Rebellion among the best albums for 2020.
As for the negatives i must say that you do not replace your amazing old logo with this smudge, that's unacceptable.

Впечатление от триумфального возвращения "к корням" одного из отцов основателей Данж Синта оказалось двоякое. С одной стороны вроде бы неплохой материал, есть прям запоминающиеся вещи. С другой стороны получилось затянуто и блекло в целом. Эра 1 так и останется его визионерским шедевром. Здесь же просто очередная попытка срубить бабла на том, что когда то сделало имя Mortiis легендарным (в своих кругах конечно)
