I'm listening to City Swine and this sounds just alright, I do hope it's not the theme of the entire album. The first impression seems like a low key derivation of the dissonant approach with thin tones and decent drumming.



I really like this video in comparison, it's just fine as well. Nothing really sticks out as a brilliant piece, good ideas and well done though.



There are certainly some excellent ideas spread around and I quite like the drummer. Does warrant few more listens and perhaps another note in a month or two.

Очень достойная группа, и интересно, как она эволюционирует. Этот альбом напомнил Кинг Кримзон образца 2003 года, что радует. Они уже становятся все менее суровыми, но хотелось бы, чтобы стали еще помягче, тогда их музыка будет просто лучше слушаться.

Вышли на новый уровень, и дело тут даже не в атональности и диссонансах, а в общем представлении структуры повествования. Стала она более комплексной и стройной, но художественно противоречивой, словно в фильмах Алехандро Ходоровски.
Разнообразия больше, ломки больше, всего больше. Лемэй должен быть доволен тем каких чудищ он косвенно породил.

Никогда раньше группу не слушал, купил винил не глядя.
Оформление очень оригинальное, и в целом стилистически все круто. По первости музыка не зашла, думал пролетел с покупкой.
Второй же раз включил сразу после Gorguts, и прям хорошо. С прошлыми сравнивать не могу, но тут все очень интересно, с щепоткой безумия. Однозначно, буду еще наматывать круги.

Не понятно только, почему кавера на винил не поместили, вторая половина второй пластинки пустая. Впрочем, их необходимость под сомнением.
