В первую очередь, не для кого, а просто потому что есть такое желание и возможности. А уж слушатель всегда найдётся.
Простой пример вот: те же Darkthrone внезапно сейчас выпустили новый альбом, полностью написанный в духе Under A Funeral Moon и дали интервью, в котором поведали, что вняли просьбам фанатов, поняли их желания и теперь будут пилить материал исключительно подобного плана, ориентируясь на мнение андеграундной тусовки. Ну, а для себя сделают скромный сайд проект или будут писать в стол. Какие будут комментарии? Ну, как минимум, наверняка объявят продажными пидapaсами, предавшими в очередной раз black metal (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif)
P.S. Есть первый альбом Ivar Bjørnson & Einar Selvik, но мне как-то вот оно вообще не зашло. Даже не помню, когда в последний раз включал его. По отдельности у них как-то удачнее получается.

Почитал сегодня тему на работе и решил вечером дома закачать альбом, послушать, да и поддержать в споре земляка, ибо никогда мне в общем-то эта группа не нравилась, ни в блэковом прошлом, ни в прогрессивном настоящего, ни посередке между ними. Не понимаю их и все тут, отношение примерно как к современному Боркнагару, только если те в последнее время играют совсем уж что-то бездушно-коммерческо-пластмассовое, то эти, конечно, заметно замороченнее будут.
В общем, настрой был конкретно предвзято негативный, скачал, послушал... а альбом вдруг понравился. Прога я слушаю мало, не пойму, в чем дело, наверное, просто хорошую музыку записали. Если бы еще эти рудименты из прошлого убрать в виде каркающего вокала, было бы вообще отлично, но и так хорошо.

Но по идее, им бы стоило сменить бренд. Закончился Hellhammer - начался Celtic Frost. Нагаш захотел поиграть в индастриал - и Covenant превратился в The Kovenant (опустим историю про шведских однофамильцев).
Шульдинер с дебюта тоже менял стиль, и не всегда это было в жилу фэнам. Но не менялся ни дух, ни узнаваемая манера. Таких примеров - сотни, и в каждом случае речь идёт хотя бы о постепенных изменениях (как, к примеру, эффектно Paradise Lost доехали до "Host" - это было забавно, но вполне естественно).
Я вообще не догоняю, с какого перепуга поздний Enslaved описывают как "прог". Где он тут? Это просто мейнстрим с влиянием того и сего. Скучный винегрет, которому не хватает уксуса и перца, а главное - индивидуальности и собственного лица.

Я бы сказал, что Enslaved для меня - персональная потеря. Они записали слишком много значимых для меня альбомов, но йотун их заешь, меня дико раздражает очередной их релиз, который ничего кроме недоумения не вызывает. Ни один новый трек.
Это просто изумительно. Единственный пример из всех команд, которые некисло вставляли меня за последние 25 лет.

Вот, скажем, "Frost": попал человеку в руки - и человека понесло и пронесло: где взять такое же.
Или вот, скажем, "Eld": попало человеку в руки, и он мйолльнир на шею повесил и в Киев уехал.
