...Synesthesia seem to be influenced by several bands, such as Soilwork, Dream Theater, Fates Warning, Senenced, Childern of Bodom and Paradise Lost, however they have managed to develop their own unique persona and attitude. The songs are thematically interconnected offering this way a holistic album which will intellectually bring listeners to unknown places. Personally, I find it hard to choose a favourite track. They have the abilities to go a long way in the future and they are an exemplar of what the Hellenic scene can offer....

собственно по сабжу-в принципе можно ассоциировать с вышеперечисленными бандами-есть кусочки и смеси всего-но насчет дрим театра не волнуйтесь-мозговерти нет-навороты имеются - но довольно мелодичные и не рваные-
послушать рекомендую всем любителям вышеозначенных команд-мне понравилось (IMG:style_emoticons/default/25.gif)

В списке групп, оказавших влияние на данный альбом, я бы в первую очередь поставил Darkseed. У Synesthesia аранжировки посложнее и ближе к прогрессиву. Наверное, у всех разное понятие о том, что такое атмосферность, но на мой взгляд она здесь присутствует на все 100%. Действительно, альбом слушается как единое целое, и отдельные песни выделить сложно. Впрочем, это нельзя назвать ни достоинством, ни недостатком. А в целом, сильная работа, хотя и не шедевр, конечно.
