Kai Hansen - Vocals, Guitar
Dirk Schlachter - Guitar
Jan Rubach - Bass
Thomas Nack - Drums

The last album before the major line-up shuffle to the band's present version.
Dirk Schlachter switched to bass after this album - Jan Rubach was originally
intended to swap positions with him, but instead decided to leave. Thomas Nack
also left at this point.

The album has also been released as a double vinyl album containing the
Holocaust cover version "H.M. Mania" as a bonus track.

Hansi Kursch of Blind Guardian did guest vocals on this album,including a lead
vocal part in "Farewell". Michael Kiske of Helloween did all lead vocals on
"Time To Break Free". Sascha Paeth played all keyboards.

Скорее всего, многие из тех, кто застал его непосредственный выход или услышал его сразу после, любят его потому, что Хансен вернулся к микрофону) Ну и вообще альбом вышел сильней, чем Инсанити предыдущий... вот и такое народное признание.

Прежде всего хочется отметить, что слабых песен на альбоме просто нет. Очень порадовали шквалистые Fairytale, All of the Damned, Salvation's Calling, Land of the Free, Time to Break Free, очень мелодичные, с прекрасными хоровыми распевками и отличными соляками, и короткие, но не менее заметные Rising of the Damned, The Saviour, Faitytale. Rebellion in Dreamland тоже очень хороша, хотя, не скажу, что, по моему мнению, она лучшая на альбоме (не говоря уж про все творчество Gamma Ray). Даже медленный номер Farewell здесь смотрится крайне органично, не так, как 18 Years в Gamma Ray - Insanity And Genius (1993).
Лучшие, на мой взгляд - Man on a Mission (и прежде всего она отлична своими вокальными партиями, хотя и гитарой в ней можно восторгаться), а так же Abyss of the Void, состоящая из нескольких ритмических/мелодических фрагментов.
Альбом - на голову выше предшественников, и сравним (для меня) лишь с Heading For Tommorow.

Отличный сильный альбом, лучшее, что они сделали в 90-х. Несмотря на ряд проходных песен, здесь также очень много и хитов и приятственных интерлюдий: Rebellion in Dreamland, Fairytale, All of the Damned, Rising of the Damned, Gods of Deliverance, Salvation's Calling, Land of the Free, Abyss of the Void, Time to Break Free, Afterlife, Heavy Metal Mania, As Time Goes By. Все кирпичики стиля в наличии - мощный вокал, ударные по силе воздействия инструменты, скорости и душевность - фанаты и любители качественного металла давно уже оценили этот крепыш по достоинству.
