Посоветуйте что-то в духе Fates Warning '97 / '00 - чтоб и прогрессивно и не чересчур наворочено - и главное мрачно.

Не то чтобы типа, но Agalloch, особливо Ashes Against the Grain. Его к прогу не относят, но ты его послушай. Должно войти.

Ну и ессно Saviour Machine. Слушать обязательно. Хотя опять же не по сходству, а по духу. Ну и оно мрачнее зело чем FW.

Раз уж мы тут за Fates Warning трём, то стоит испытать их сайд-проект по имени Engine (US).

Музыка другая, чем у FW, тяжелее и довольно мрачная.

Могу порекомендовать In The Woods... "Omnio" - по настроению, лично для меня, очень схоже с FW "A Pleasant Shade Of Grey". Хотя, стилистические отличия, естественно есть (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif)
