Олег, я думаю, тебе не надо объяснять, насколько тонка грань между традом и хэви, и, соответственно, между хэви и пауэром)) Кендлы всегда играли именно такую смесь, и цветок, распустившийся из этого бутона - Memento Mori - тоже. Lowe очень радует на этой записи, по сравнению с прошлым альбомом - небо и земля... да и куда SA против CM (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif)

Даже мне понравилось. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif) Удобоваримый вокал, цепляющий бодрый материал с запонимающимимся моментами. Группу не котирую, до этого ни одной полной песни не прослушал, наверное.

от прошлого я плевался очень сильно
клял их всех, на чем свет стоит, что Колю М. отпустили...
но тут МС звучит обнадеживающе...

пусть это уже не то... нооо... если закрыть глаза, что это ТА САМАЯ банда, то альбом мне понравится
я вот в треке the bleeding baroness на МС слышу Queen немного (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif)


терки про "попсу" не понял... по-моему Кэндлмэсс старый очень доступная широким массам музыка...

После многократного внимательного прослушивания в наушниках могу с уверенностью констатировать, что работа неимоверно сильная и пока в моем личном рейтинге их работ прочно заняла третье место после первых двух альбомов 20-летней давности.
Возврат к старому доброму незамысловатому звучанию конца 80-х шведы сделали на "отлично": есть 100% хиты (Hammer Of Doom, The Bleeding Baroness, Dead Angel), есть над чем подумать (If I Ever Die), есть и просто очень хорошие трэки, слабых песен нет. Название диска опять же.. в лучших традициях, так сказать.
Единственное, что вызывает у меня вопросы, это ухудшающийся вокал Robert Lowe.. То ли он подохрип, то ли чуток приболел горлом.. Тем не менее, заслуженные 9/10 и несомненная номинация на "лучший альбом 2009 года"..

Да хз, в принципе все треки отличные, но на фоне The Bleeding Baroness и Demons Of The Deep другие на мой взгляд смотрятся заметно слабее.
Вобще мне нравятся все, но в некоторых треках есть места, которые мне не по душе. Hammer Of Doom не понравился вообще.

не надо бояться ставить Death Magic Doom в один ряд с Epicus Doomicus Metallicus и Night Fall..

Хороший кэндлмассовский альбом. Слушаю и понимаю - он у меня надолго. Эпично, тяжело, но всё-таки быстровато. Жаль вот сейчас громко слушать нельзя - почти ночь на дворе - но прийдёт завтра и я его прослушаю очень громко - вот тогда-то и будет до конца понятно - быстровато всё-таки или нет )))
